BBC Group FAQs
Is it free to join any group?
Most groups are completely free to join, with the exception of some sports ministries.
Can I join more than one group?
Absolutely! Many groups are seasonal or occur on different days of the week. Join as many groups as you would like.
I'm interested in starting a group. Is this possible?
Yes! Looking to start something new that engages and supports other believers? Let us know in person during a morning worship service or by filling out a connection card. Bethany may be able to work with you in forming and promoting a new group.
Do I have to attend Bethany Bible Church to join a group?
In many cases, no. Some groups, such as our sports ministries do not require that you attend our church specifically.
More details about each group can be found on their respective pages.
What is a "Life Group"? How is it different from a shepherd group?
Life groups are small biweekly Bible studies that allow believers in similar stages of life to support one another in all aspects of life.
Shepherd groups are small anonymous groups that allow individuals to have a contact point with a church leader who can pray for them, answer questions, and find ways to support one’s next steps at Bethany.
I'm not sure which group is best for me. Can you help me choose?
Sure. If you’re new to Bethany or looking to get plugged in, fill out a connection card and note what interests you have so we can help point you in the right direction.
