We believe the church functions as the body of Christ, and Christians as members of that body. Learn more about our values in Discovering BBC, a one-night class designed to prepare you for membership.

We highly regard the process of membership and recognize the need for formal commitment to church

We believe membership identifies our family of believers who can be counted on to help fulfill our purpose

We recognize Scripture calls for spiritual accountability, which is effectively achieved through membership

Why is membership important?

At Bethany Bible Church, we believe there are five basic reasons why membership matters:

1. Membership identifies you as a believer. (I Cor. 5:12, II Cor. 2:6)

2. Membership identifies who the leaders “are over”. (Heb. 13:17)

3. Membership provides you a spiritual family to support and encourage you. (Heb. 10:19-25)

4. Membership gives you a place to discover and use your spiritual gifts. (I Cor. 12)

5. Membership gives you accountability to help you grow spiritually. (Jam. 5:16)

How can I learn more about the church's beliefs?

Discovering BBC is our dedicated class for learning about Bethany Bible Church’s history and beliefs. This free course is required for membership but those who take it are not obligated to become members.

When is the next Discovering BBC class?

Discovering BBC is offered periodically as needed. Please contact the church office if you are interested in enrolling in our next session.
