An Adult Bible Fellowship is a group that meets on Sunday mornings at 9:45am for study in God’s Word, prayer, encouragement, and fellowship. These groups are organized around a general set of life characteristics including age, stage of life and or relationships. The ABF hour is a place to connect. The aim of the ABF is to help those in attendance connect to God, His Word, and His People. Everyone who walks through the doors of Bethany will have a place where they can connect with other Christians while studying God’s Word in an engaging and applicable way. ABFs are open to all. Members of ABFs are encouraged to invite visitors and others who are not yet connected to attend a fellowship. ABFs are more than just Sunday morning studies. Each ABF will be encouraged to host fellowship gatherings and activities outside of Sunday mornings and will also be the place to filter people into Life Groups. ABFs will be able to move quickly in response to physical and spiritual needs and address crisis situations in tangible ways. ABFs will present opportunities for increased prayer and missionary engagement.
