Celebrating 60 Years!

Q & A’s

Q: Why has BBC membership voted to build a new auditorium?
A: God has blessed BBC with sustained growth in recent years. Our membership recognizes the need for additional worship space in order to help fulfill our mission to introduce people to the benefits of living a life with and for God.

Q: What are we building?
A: We are building a new worship auditorium to seat 546 people, a gathering/fellowship area, and administrative office space.

Q: When will construction begin?
A: God willing, the outside site improvements will begin in the spring of 2014 and building construction will begin in summer 2014.

Q: When will construction be completed?
A: Project completion and occupancy is estimated to be summer 2015.

Q: How will the project affect our current ministries and facilities?
A: We will manage the project to minimize any disruption of our church services and ministries. Upon completion, we plan to repurpose existing space to provide additional classrooms and improved nursery capabilities.

Q: What will it cost?
A: Construction costs are estimated to be 2.5 million dollars. A considerable amount of funds are needed “up front” which will allow us to begin specific and required outside improvements prior to groundbreaking on the new building.

Q: How will it be funded?
A: The project will be funded by the faithful giving of BBC members and friends, and by gifts over and above regular offerings.

Q: How will it affect our current budget?
A: In the event that we need to borrow funds, our current level of giving/revenue will support a monthly mortgage obligation, once we satisfy our down payment.

Q: Why do we need a capital campaign?
A: Bethany Bible Church is blessed by God to have no existing debt. We have recently used capital from our Future Growth Fund to purchase adjacent land, to retain the services of a design architect, and to hire a construction management company. Without a capital campaign, we do not have sufficient finances remaining to initiate and complete the building project. It is also our desire to minimize or eliminate the need to go into debt.

Q: How can I help?
A: You can help by fervently praying for the wisdom of our leadership, for unity of our members and friends, and by your sacrificial giving to the FAITH FORWARD campaign.

Q: Will it be possible to give online?
A: Yes, you can use our secure site to give a one time donation or setup recurring donations and even track your pledge amount. Please read the information on our “Give to Faith Forward” page.
